| A 6-18 tank was installed at the dairy site for the College of the Sequoias in September 1999. To the right of the Bioreactor tank is a feed hopper "dressed up" like a cow to promote tours of local dairymen and schools. At left the output chute empties into a bin where the soil amendment is augered into a holding bin. From there it can be augered into a truck for removal from the site.
The shed (right foreground) in new production systems has been eliminated as the electronics have been downsized, ruggedized, and housed within the support structure, making our footprint even smaller.
